Death Penalty Moratorium on Alabama Arise 2012 Agenda

We are grateful to be able to report that Alabama Arise members voted to have the Death Penalty Moratorium as a goal on the Alabama Arise 2012 agenda. We thank all who gave this their vote.
For those of you not in Alabama, Alabama Arise is a statewide coalition of congregations, organizations and individuals joined together to promote state policies that improve the lives of low-income Alabamians. The Montgomery Advertiser has called Arise in many ways the conscience of Alabama. We are proud of our long-term association with Alabama Arise and are grateful to its dedicated staff.
