We have learned that Governor Bentley has refused to grant a clemency hearing to Eddie Powell's attorneys. The clemency application was accepted.
It is to state the obvious that there is a vast difference between filing an application and having a hearing on the issues.

So for Eddie Powell, a man with mental retardation who has never had a hearing in court on that issue, the Governor (his last stop on the way to execution) continues the refusal to be heard.

Please call the Governor 334 242 7100 and demand justice for Eddie.
