Last Thursday a Federal court rejected Anthony Boyd’s plea to call off his nitrogen gas execution.

The family billboard SAVE ANTHONY BOYD in Talladega was a great success and showed Alabama what the death penalty also does to the family. ABC NEWS – Alabama inmate maintains innocence ahead of execution by nitrogen for 1993 murder. Also: “What the people of Alabama don’t know is they don’t know how horrible this thing is. They don’t know what this looks like. Which is why we’re so determined to let people see this mask, and say, hey, this is the torture device that the state is using to kill people,” said Rev. Jeff Hood from the Execution Intervention Project. -WVTM 13 Birmingham Also, CBS News “Alabama Inmate set to die by nitrogen gas for 1993 murder maintains his innocence: “I didn’t kill anybody.”

The film follows Rev. Dr. Jeff Hood as he prepares Emmanuel Littlejohn for execution in September 2024.

We cannot say enough how grateful we are to the Rev. Dr. Jeff Hood for his dedicated and non-stop work to save Anthony. While in Alabama the Rev. Dr. Jeff Hood has been invited to preach at the Unitarian Universal church in Auburn 10.19. at 10:00 a.m. and will also be at Troy University 10.20. If anyone can wake up this backward state he is the one and so we hope!
