Weekly Report from the Board Meeting at Holman Prison 6.23.21

As always we had a lively meeting at which we discussed events of the past week which included emails received and answered, the Death Penalty Information Center Weekly Updates and of course the stays in South Carolina.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland said yesterday that he is reviewing the Justice Department's federal death penalty policies and that he expects to issue a statement when his review is complete. It is past time to abolish the death penalty in this country and become civilized!

Meanwhile we hope that you have received or are about to receive our latest edition of Wings of Hope and are finding it informative. As always it is the result of much work and dedication and is one more example that even new hurdles like the ones brought about by our move can’t stop us!
